We sandblasted the face of this redwood to expose the grain. Then we routed the letters 1/2″ deep into the wood, stained it, dry brushed it to make it look old, and filled the letters with 1/4″ thick laser cut clear acrylic with a sub-surface mounted digital print to get the gradient.
